I heart Sienna's outfit (photo courtesy of People). Although it's all black (with a white purse), it's still a standout to me. I would wear this outfit. I like how she took a dainty dress and made it current by pairing it with leggings, a knockout belt, and chunky jewelry. Had she worn the dress with heels and pearls, it would have a totally different vibe.If you want to own Sienna's style, check out what I found below. I think the look is great but,,,,what about age and/or weight ??
Good question about age and weight. I think on my site I relate more to those in their 30's and older, so I tend to stay away from recommending things that would not look good on my age group (like super minis-but adding leggings underneath would even help with that). So I think this outfit is fine for most age groups. But if you are a certain age and feel silly wearing it, then just take parts of the idea that you like and that you think flatters you. As far as weight is concerned, I have admitted that I have my own issues. The dress presented is a-line and would flatter those with extra weight; and adding a belt would help define a smaller waist area, which can balance you out. Hope that helps.
I adore Sienna Miller! This is a nice change from her usual super-boho style, while still keeping aspects of it. Personally, I think she should have worn the dress with belt on its own, without the leggings and chain. It's a very flattering dress for many figure types. But it should have much less accessories to showcase its simple beauty.
