But you can cross over, too easily, from a casual and classic adult style to a little girl look, especially if your Mary Janes are flats. So when I started seeing more t-straps on mary janes I really liked the look. It adds an air of sophistication that classic mary janes do not. Here's some that I saw at Piperlime. The red Rampage pair are $50.00 and the multi-color Studio Jones are $85.00.

These t-straps were seen at Famous Footwear. The black Madden Girl are $24.99. The black/white spectator wedges from Hot Kiss are $44.99. The bronze flats from Blowfish are $49.99.

I really like the wedge ones and the ballet flats- enough to want to purchase them!

Mila.
I have a new pair I bought on vacation in July and LOVE them but have yet to wear them. Perhaps tomorrow!
i like mary jane too but without the t-strap normally.
Hmmm. the jury's still out on this one. Not sure I like the strap.
I love Mary-Jane's too although I wasn't as keen on the wedges and flat versions.
I'm probably a little too conservative.
I really like the colours, green and tan.
Yep.. I'm a bit like savvy mode. no t strap for me.
T-straps are awesome! If you have skinny legs and thin ankles like me, they're amazingly flattering. They also have a cute retro feel that I love. I have a fab pair of t-strap wedge sandals from Target (called "Adah"), and a pair of snakeskin black t-strap Maryjanes from Sam Edelman (called "Carrie") that I just adore. They're both flattering and very comfortable too.
BTW, the "Adah" sandals are on clearance and available on the Target website for $11.50! :)
