Halloween Inspiration From the Runway

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Not sure yet what to dress as? Well, let's take some ideas and inspiration from the runway! All pictures courtesy of style.com.

Perhaps a skeleton, like models from the Christian Lacroix or Alexander McQueen shows, below?

Or maybe a British Royal Guardsman or a 20's inspired flapper from John Galliano?

Or perhaps, a tiger or a big ol' bunny, like the ever entertaining Alexander McQueen himself?

Seriously. Some of those fashion-as-spectacle runway looks would make IDEAL Halloween costumes!

At first I thought the bones were hers, then realized it's part of the outfit. :)

Oh my gosh those Royal Guardsmen hats used to make me hysterical as a child. It hought they were wearing some deranged animal on their heads. Every town in Australia had its own Scottish band (why, who knows) and the guy leading the band wore one o fthese hats. I used to hide when I saw them coming and NOW they are the height of fashion? NO!!!!!!! Thanks for visiting my blog. I shall be back to visit yours too. Need some ideas on the fashion front!!
