A few months ago I wrote about using a primer on my skin that made it break out, here! Although I loved the look and feel of a primer, I had to give it up before I began looking like a pimply teen.What did I like about using a primer you ask? It felt silky going on and seemed to create a "smooth canvas" on my face, per se, to make it easier for my make-up to go on.
Huh? What is primer supposed to do, you ask? A primer is probably more for us gals getting up there in years, who no longer have a perfectly smooth face without fine lines and wrinkles as well as blotchiness and dryness etc. The idea is that you put the primer on right before your make-up and let it sink into your skin and dry (it's a clear liquid the consistency of thicker lotion)so that it smooths and fills in any "cracks and crevices", creating a smooth surface for your make-up to go on.
Now, I never would have believed it would work myself, had I not tried it!
Since the other product I used iritated my sensitive skin, I decide to try a more natural product by Bare Minerals called Prime Time. I currently use Bare Minerals foundation and I LOVE IT! It doesn't irritate my skin and is made of pure minerals. Their primer is supposed to be all natural and infused with vitamin C, E, and B5, in addition to having aloe, chamomile and licorice extracts. So I gave it a go and have been using it!
What do I think of the product, you ask? So far so good. I like how it looks and feels, and it hasn't irritated my skin. I like it well enough to recommend it!

even though you describe it, I can't imagine how it could work well! I could use some help.
I use a primer too and I love it-but maybe this one is better for me with all those vitamins!
Love prime time, although my mom stole my last bottle. I'm using smashbox right now and it is also fab!
The only time I used primer was for my wedding. It was by Laura Mercier and it was amazing, but now I have a bottle of it lying around and don't know what to do with it (I don't really wear makeup)!
Has anyone ever had a problem with Prime Time "flaking"? I've just recently started using Bare Minerals cosmetics and I love them. And, I love the look that Prime Time gives my face but I have had an issue with flaking? Wondering if anyone else had had the same problem. Thanks.
