Today I am the guest blogger over at My Chihuahua Bites!!!
What I learned About Style (And life) From My Four Year Old:
Those who follow my blog know I have a four year old son who I can’t seem to stop buying cute shoes and cool vintage tees for. My little guy is the sweetest- and I know that I'm not objective but he just is- I get it from others too all the time- he is a hugger and is very sweet and loving. I wouldn’t trade that for the world. I know I will miss it when he turns into a teenager and keeps me at arm’s length. So I want to cherish him and his gentle disposition right now.
My son has varied interests as all kids do. He definitely likes shiny, shimmery stuff, like mommy’s jewelry, and always has to touch and sample the jewelry I own and make out of my home business. He also likes making his own jewelry from string and beads,

I just wanted to let you know how much I love that post-I have a boy too!
loved your post! it is so true what happens. enjoy them while you can!
I loved reading your story Christina! I try to help both of my children (A boy and a girl)stay well-rounded! Share more in the future, please!
I have a son who is now almost 7 and when he was 4 he'd dress up in his batman costume and carry round a barbie doll. He loved playing with dolls, and is still very sweet and sensitive with his little sister who is 3.
We have both boy and girl toys in the house and they play with both.
My son doesn't much care what he wears - though at the moment it's all about Ben 10 - which I got him some fabric crayons and white t-shirts and he's drawn his own Ben 10 character t-shirts.
My daughter is very particular about what she wears - it has to be pretty and sparkly and very often pink. This is not though my doing, but her own asthetic. She is also much more independent than my son.
Awww... your sun is so adorable! :) I think when I have kids I'm goin' to spend all my money on funky clothes for them :)
Yea! A picture of you and your boy. So precious. Love the post.
I read your entire post and I just love it. E is a special son and you guys are truly blessed! By the way...I knit something for him....:-)
Awwww, what a great story! Though I'm not yet a mom, as a preschool teacher I've experienced first-hand a lot of what you write about. We've had little boys who love the girls' dress-up stuff (we let the children choose what they want to wear, regardless of their gender) at our school. I think males have a love of dressing up and adornment too, just as females do. My brother loves to wear pink!
Isn't it fascinating what children like about clothes and colors, though? They notice everything!
I liked this post! I just wanted you to know I left a comment over there about it. :)
