The Easter holiday is in a couple of weeks. Growing up, I remember the excitement of shopping for my Easter dress. Because it falls in the spring, it was great fun looking for a bright or feminine pattern for my outfit, which usually included some kind of spring sandal and matching purse.
And sure enough every year, I would proudly wear my dress and sandals.... and totally freeze my butt off! Growing up in the North East, we all knew better. We knew it never warmed up enough by Easter!
So, in the spirit of those fond memories, are these spring dresses. If your spring is like mine, you can be smart, like Jennifer Aniston, above, and wear hose and close toed shoes; or just be sure to cover up with your wrap, cardigan, blazer or spring coat!
The dresses below are from Old Navy, Christa-Taylor, and the new shop Ruche!
Ruche is a newer on-line store that has some great and affordable stuff! Be sure to check them out here!
Ruche is also offering a GREAT DEAL for my readers until May 1st. If you use coupon code RSRP with your purchase, you'll get an additional 10% off! Thank you, Ruche!

Having boys, I miss out on this tradition of buying new Easter dresses, but goodness knows, no matter how cold it is, they want to wear tshirts and shorts!
I know what you mean about freezing! The ones from QVC surprise me-very cute!
Really nice things on the Ruche and Christa sites-thanks for sharing-the 10% is making me consider the turqouise purse I like!
I love how Aniston toughens up that floral dress (as you've highlighted), I might wear something similar for Easter myself!
