Celebrity Chic But Cheap: Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie, I enjoy your casual leisurely style, while strolling the streets of New York City, because its probably something I'd wear.
Comfortable and easy!

Although it's a little too brown and neutral for me. I'd probably try to add in a little bit more color with the purse, shoes or cardigan!

It is VERY brown. She looks like she could use a splash of yellow. The obligatory celebrity Starbucks cup rounds the look out!

I know it sounds strange but if it was all black (I just dont like browns)with some grey, I'd wear it!

Love your blog! I love the outfit but I think that her bag should have at least had some color.

I'd wear it in pink. :) With a leopard print bag--pure delightful tackiness.

Didn't she just get married?

I LOVE the look, but I agree a punch of color would kick it up a notch.

These are my favorite posts of yours.

I was just thinking the other day that I was going to ask your opinion about pairing black and brown together, but I guess this post answers it. :)

I live it something like that all summer long. I don't do shorts like I used to.

I'd add turquoise or red to it!

For some reason I am mesmerized by this photo! I love Maggie G, and this seems like such a neat little out-and-about look. I own a dress somewhat similar to her one, and this gives a lot of good ideas on how to wear it! Though I too agree that I'd add a bit more color/interest with the accessories. But still, I think it really rocks!
