Now, my wallet and keys are a given, that I need to keep close by-but I don't keep them in my desk-just in my bag ............
For me, number one would be some type of chapstick or tinted lip balm. If my lips feel dry, I CANNOT GO ON! ;)
Which leads me to some type of hand lotion. I wash my hands SO MUCH throughout the day that my hands get dry!
Then pressed powder to dab my nose and Touche Eclat for under my eyes.
Next, my cell phone has to always be in reach (which can be seen as good and bad).
Followed by notepad and paper to write down any myriad of things: jewelry orders from Paypal, post ideas, grocery list, etc.
My digital camera is next in line! In case I need to take pictures of jewlery or stories for the newspaper I write for!
And even though it's not in my desk, it certainly is on it- a steaming cup of coffee or water !
........which leads to having a bathroom nearby at all times ;)

fun! yours are all mine too except I dont drink coffee- it's diet coke for me!!
My cell phone may as well be an extension of my own body. If I don't have it, I should just crawl back in bed b/c I will be of no use to anyone.
In my purse I make sure I always carry my lipliner and tinted gloss. Color on my lips helps me look alive and feel put together.
Oh let's see ... hand lotion, lip balm, and a hairband. I'm a minimalist, I guess!
burts bees are like crack to my lips..i cant be away from them!

Besides the wallet, I keep in my purse:
--lip balm (mine just happens to be Burts Bees)
--my Palm (I can't live without my lists, my calendar, my bibles, my dictionary, my prayer book...)
--sunglasses
--headache remedies
--hairbrush
--water bottle
I always, always, always have a C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine gloss from Bath and Body Works in my pocket. Always. I also have no fewer than two of those tubes in my purse, too! I love them!
Then I always have a tiny tube of hand lotion, a compact to check for stray anything that crops up after eating, etc., my cell phone (which, oddly, is rarely on), a notepad which has a cover made from a videocassette cover of Sixteen Candles (so awesome I almost hate writing it in, but it's filled with scribbles and quotes and post topics and books I want to read and other things I can no longer read when I go back to look at it), my iPod (always and forever), and a book or two. I never go anywhere without carrying a book. Seriously, a book and some C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine and I would be good on a deserted island for at least four days.

When I used to an office, before I became a Baby Einstein watchin' SAHM...Gum, a mini body spray and my cell were always close at hand!

Coffee, gum, and an ATM card are all I need... the keys to the car are always nice, too!! :)
