Summer Toes

Do you paint your toe nails in the summer?

I treat myself to a couple of pedicures a year and it's heavenly.

I know some people are repulsed by that thought, but I don't feel that way. I enjoy having my feet pampered!

Here's the new "it" color this season:

What do you think? I don't like it, and green is my favorite color!

I'd much prefer these softer greenish blue versions:

BUT, really my first choice would be bright bold summer colors:

HOW ABOUT YOU?

I agree with your color choices! Summer pinks and yellows are my first choice. I enjoy bluish greens and purples even. Right now I am craving a gunmetal gray. I will get that out of my system and go back to pinks and yellows and corals.

COOL! I'm going to have to pick up some green polish for my toenails. I do my own pedicures, but yes, I keep my toenails in tip-top shape during sandal season.

I love bright colors! Or dark reds. :)

I haven't done my toes yet this season, and I keep putting off a pedicure, which is something I don't get often, but sometimes I need to have a professional tackle these feet of mine and then do it myself after that.

I also love the fun summer colors, but when I go to buy polishes, I tend to gravitate toward the darker hues. Two weeks ago, my fingernails were black and I LOVE them. This week I've got a frosted burgundy on that is probably better suited for fall, but I love it. I completely overbuy fingernail polish because it's an fun, inexpensive way to perk yourself up.

I usually hold off until mid-summer and then paint away. I've got neon pink toes now and LOVE 'em! Those dark colors just never appeal.

Ever since I painted my toenails coral a few weeks ago, I've been addicted to bright summery colors.

Oh, I love bright nail polish on my nails...especially in the summer:)That green is dull and I don't think I'd be giving it a try:)

i am always willing to give a new color a chance.

That green is just a bad idea. A little too evocative of foot fungus perhaps?

I'm with you on bright summer colors! I love a good hot pink on the toes.

Enjoy your pedi! Sounds heavenly...

i don't believe in paying for pedicures, but yes, i paint my toes! i feel so horribly naked without! almost always some form of purple, though, so that it'll go well with the majority of my clothes ;)

it's not my favorite color, but i bet it wouldn't look so bad on. its dark enough that it kinda flies by under the radar...

thats so funny u say that! couple of months ago i was SEARCHING everywhere for a nice green color, i just thought a nice deep one would look so great for a summer/fall transition.. i found one! its called jumpin jade by sally hansen, but its a bit too sparkly, i really want a matte one and the one you pictured look perfect!!!

You can use any color you want as long as its red! HAHA Only red for the toes. I have been getting my feet done for 15 years, only red!
