Denim Toppers, 90's Style

I still cannot get on board with the denim shirts and vests I'm seeing this season.

Reminds me too much of the 90's grunge/burnout period of my life....

What about you?

I love that denim dress! I have actually never been into denim vests or denim anything (except jeans of course)

I sorta like the AE shirt but wouldn't know how i would wear it. I am not a fan of head to toe denim and I wear jeans so not sure how this one would work

You know, I'm with you on this one. Every now and then I catch myself picking up a denim button down, thinking I make it look cute with a short skirt. But then I put it right back-one trend I can't seem to embrace!

I don't like them either. I could possibly pull off a jean jacket, but it would have to be cut really well!

I'm in your camp with this one, and am with Christy. I'd have to stop the process with just a nicely cut jean jacket.

HERE HERE. Not my favorite look at all.

I'd wear a denim shirt or dress if I found one that fit really well and looked sharp. I remember the 90s denim shirts being kind of floppy and shapeless, but that might have been just where I lived. I had a fitted dark denim shirt from the late 90s that I regret giving away to this day.

But I just haven't found a good denim dress (or chambray, whatever it's called) yet. Still looking ...

I love denim skirts but not so sure about the shirts.

I'm totally having Jordan Catalano flashbacks over here...

I think the vests are fine with little floral dresses but I'm still not sold on the denim dress. :D

what to wear these with? not jeans!

Anon--no, more than likely you'd wear trousers or black pants or khakis! Hope that helps.
