So, here's my list of trends I've gotten on board with this year:
1. Boyfriend Cardigans (the one below is from the Gap): I own three of them and wear them religiously with tanks, jeans and scarfs.
2. Leggings: Just like Katie (image below from justjared.buzznet.com), I've worn my black ones with long tunics, dresses and flats:
3. My Plaid Tunic (from charlotte Ruche) that I've worn every which way:
4. Infinity Scarfs (this is one is LA Made). So easy-no thought involved. Just wind one, two, or three times around your neck. It never comes undone and you never have to fuss with it.
5. Short Scrunchie Boots (these are from JC Penney). I wear them with leggings, straight leg or boot cut pants. Easy. Love them.
6. Anything with Ruffles (the one below is by BCBG). Big bosom babes beware-depending on where the ruffles are placed, they can make you look even larger.
7. Short-sleeve cardigans. I wear them for every season. In the warmer months I just layer a long tee underneath (mine is from Target):

You are way more stylish than me. The only new style I've really embraced is stretchy jeans. It's so nice to have jeans that actually fit for a change.
I've definitely embraced boyfriend cardigans and leggings. I haven't really tried any of the other trends yet, but that's mostly because of budget issues.

I finally broke down and got some leggings. I found the denim ones are nice as long as you wear something that covers the butt and thighs.
Right there with ya on the leggings and infinity scarves! I nabbed a boyfriend cardi on sale, but am yet to figure out how I want to wear it.

I pretty much embraced the bold shoulder look this year, I found it surprisingly flattering with a nipped in waist

i am loving the trends that you mentioned. i'm doing some of them but one thing that i have always wanted was the shoes. did you get those a while back or recently?? can you list other options cuz i really want a pair. thanks! keep up the good work!

Just got on board the the leggings....so comfy...but I need to find something to wear with them. I only have one longer length baby doll style sweater that I love.
I have boarded the leggings express and the Ugg bandwagon - I couldn't be happier!
leggings are a def must for the past couple of years. booties is something i started to wear in 09. cardigans for sure too. never really wore them before. and infinity scarf too! as i made one! and statement necklaces.

Oh hey same here! Except for the leggings (I'm too short?) and the scarf (I live in a country where scarves are not needed ahah).
