What Kind of Purse are You Carrying, Right Now?

Andrea from My Chihuahua Bites tagged me for a purse meme and since it was fashion related and fairly easy, I couldn't resist!

(By the way, Andrea is kind enough to guest blog for me next week while I'm travelling-stay tuned for her very imformative beauty post)

Well the bag I am carry like crazy at the moment is this black The Sak bag I received as a Christmas gift from my brother-in-law (not too shabby brother-in-law)-umm, ladies, he's single :)

How much did it cost???? Hmm...well, I have seen it full price for around $100, but have also seen it at discount stores, like Stein Mart for half that!

Miss Sixty at Fall 2009 Fashion Week:Acid Wash Revival

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! Please wake me up from this nightmare I am having. In my nightmare, I am wearing my horrible acid wash jeans, a ripped tee and a fedora ala Molly Ringwald. Oh and a bandana around my wrist! And yes, Molly is in my dream along with "Ducky", Michael Anthony Hall and Judd Nelson from The Breakfast Club (well, that part's not so bad). Judd Nelson, where have you been anyway?

Well, I woke up and I realize it's not a dream. Instead it is Fashion Week New York's Fall 2009 collection from Miss Sixty. And then I begin to shed some big tears. Because I swear I can never ever again go back to acid wash. I know acid wash has been rearing it's ugly head for awhile now and I have been ignoring it pretty well. But this just sent me over the edge!

Thankfully I can continue to ignore it because there are plenty of other style to report on and keep me going in the coming year-so stay tuned!

I have always adnmired how Erin mixes textures and styles. Her sparkly top with the furry vest, with the Chuck Taylor sneakers, with the cool Betsey Johnson bag.
She's wearing: a Coogi fur vest, Chuck Taylor Converse shoes, A Vertigo shirt, and Big Star Jeans. She always looks super cool. Here she is below at another Fashion Week Cleveland event. She practically holds the whole week-long event in her hands as the Administrative Services Director. But she's good at it!

Elizabeth Hasselbeck for QVC

I have always admired Elizabeth's fashion sense on The View. I find myself tuning in, not to hear the topics discussed by the ladies(because frankly, they kind of annoy me) but to see what Elizabeth is wearing. She's very stylish, even through her three pregnancies. So imagine my delight and surprise when I hear she is now doing a line with QVC through their Dialogue brand. She is in the beginning stages so there's not alot of merchandise available yet, but I have a feeling it will be popular.
