I am wearing them right now and hate to go without. As soon as my foot steps inside the house, I search for them.
We have hard-wood floors, and it's drafty in our older home.
In the winter months I have a fuzzy and warm pair. In the summer they're a lighter material and a thong style.
Habit? Foot sensitivity? Freeze baby?
Maybe all of the above.
Since I wear them daily, they wear out more quickly. So I'm considering investing in a sturdier pair, like the Halflingers, below. Hmm...

I have a few pair of slippers, but I never could get into the habit of wearing them. I don't like to wear shoes anymore than I absolutely have to so I am sure that is part of it. Plus, if my feet get cold, I just put on a pair of toe socks! :)

I love slippers and have too many. My favs...black flip flop fuzzy Uggs. They make me feel like I should have a cocktail...and how can that be bad?

I search for my babies as soon as I walk in the door! These days I'm sporting Ugg house slippers. The best spent $70 ever!
Wearing some right now. I simply can't tolerate not having something on my feet thanks to arches are incredibly high and feel exhausted by the end of the day. Even if I get up in the middle of the night, I have to slip my slippers on. I do think I need to get something with a sturdier sole on them now, though.
i wore my ugg boots around the houst last winter, this year i got the slippers. My oldest (15) got the same ugg slippers you have pictured but her and her friends wear them out like shoes.
I have slippers galore: 3 pairs of uggs, ballet slippers, cowboy boot slippers, Knee high furry boot slippers. We have hardwoods..they are a necessity to me. LOL.
I love sippers. I have a pair made from that memory foam stuff. They are very comfortable. I can't imagine life without them.

We have hardwood floors too so slippers are a must have. Like you, I wear mine out quickly so l'm curious to know how well the sturdy ones will hold up. I'm loving the booties with the pom-poms!
Those doggie ones are super cute. My slippers now are kind of furry white boots with little pompoms on them. I got them super cheap at Payless, and I love them.

I wear my slippers ALL the time! I am due for a new pair, mine have been making my back hurt because they are worn out! I am subbing some crocs flip flops right now, luckily it's not too cold!

I have a couple pairs of UGG slippers that I wear all the time. They keep my feet toasty warm and they kind of look like shoes too.
It's extra nice because I feel like our floors stay a little cleaner because we exchange our shoes for slippers at the door.
Normally I am barefoot. This winter my feet have been cold so I have put on socks/sock slippers. I want to get some UGGS.

Ugh, I hate slippers. I think they're tedious and uncomfortable. Although, I have extremely high arches that look like the Gateway Arch, so it's just better for me to not wear them.
The man actually stole my slippers and stretched the hell out of them!!! So no more slippers for me :(

Yes I wear them. I began wearing them in the hospital, then after transplant I was told that I could no longer be barefoot inside or out. I wear the Victoria's Secret slippers that come with the PJs and I have a fuzzy pair from Gap, but usually I wear flip-flops because my feet get hot. =)

How I do love a fuzzy slipper! I always have something on my feet... big, fluffy slippers or thick socks. Love 'em.
