A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature, to halt words when speech becomes superfluous.
(Ingrid Bergman)
"Mistletoe has been one of the most magical, mysterious, and sacred plants of European folklore. Considered to bestow life and fertility, to protect against poison, and to be used as an aphrodisiac."
Some prefer the tease, the brush of the lips.
Others appreciate the solid grasp, the crush of the mouth.
But prefer reading (and watching) the intensity of the "build-up".
"I tried to watch the movie, I really did, but it was hard to concentrate with his steady, even breaths ruffling my hair, and his hand tracing up and down my spine. It was somewhere between ticklish and seductive. I was hyper aware of the way his finger would continue a little further down my back, until he barely touched the stretch of skin between the bottom of my shirt and the top of my shorts.
He would stay there for only the barest of seconds before returning up my back. Then his fingers danced up the sensitive skin at the back of my neck, and I had to hold back a moan. I glanced up at him quickly, but he was so focused on the movie, completely unaware of the madness he was driving me to."
Leave it to me to do a whole post on what else? KISSING! *wink*
SMOOCH your loved ones this week!

Cute post! Mistletoe is great fun!!
I loved that part of the book, too. You just reminded me just how great the writing was.
I love both kinds of kisses in fiction, starting off with the teasing brush of the lips.
I'm a big fan of kissing! If it were up to me, I'd hang Mistletoe on every doorframe in our house! :)
DL: *high five*
great scene! Haven't heard of that one yet. Love kissing scenes. Both writing and reading them. And watching them between my favorite characters on my guilty-pleasure tv shows:)
Sigh.
Definitely agree that the build up is the best! I enjoyed that book too!
