I never wash my hair every day even though I have very fine, oily hair. Pretty much every haircare professional I've met says it's bad for your hair to wash it daily.

To be frank, though, I wish I could! I hate having even slightly greasy hair. But if the choice is between that and damaging what little hair I have, I have to go with the greasy. :o(

I wash mine twice each week. I don't have to do it very often, but I do occasionally use a hair powder if I misjudged my need to wash it. It works like a charm. Then I can usually go another 2 days without washing.

I have curly hair that needs to be wet every morning or it looks horrid. Then, I just put product in & let it air dry - pretty low maintenance. However, just the last week I've stopped using shampoo every day in the shower and have started 'washing' my hair with conditioner every other day. I recently started coloring my hair, and wanted to help keep my color and stop my ends from getting too dry. So far, OK. Depends on the day/night I've had before. If I've been busy and twisted my hair (shoulder length or longer and thick)(and takes what seems like forever to dry, but is probably more like 20 minutes) up the day before and it looks bad, I'll wash it. I tend to sleep with my hair up in a Scrunchee (because I like to be very sexy when I sleep! ha!) and that sometimes helps me keep a day of hair washing at bay, which saves a tremendous amount of time. I actually kind of love when I take the Scrunchee out, brush out the hair and see that I can get by with a day of not washing it!

(oh, and to complete that sexy thing, I wear a shower cap on the days I'm not going to wash it while getting cleaned up for the day!)
