Alina just proves the point that owning a great trench coat will pull an outfit together. Buy one in shiny green fabric and it makes you look hip and trendy!
Alina is a nurse at Lakewood hospital. Her trench and mules are from Marshall's and her jeans from Express.
Here's my re-creation below all from Zappos, Nordstrom and Express:

I have always adnmired how Erin mixes textures and styles. Her sparkly top with the furry vest, with the Chuck Taylor sneakers, with the cool Betsey Johnson bag.

She's wearing: a Coogi fur vest, Chuck Taylor Converse shoes, A Vertigo shirt, and Big Star Jeans. She always looks super cool. Here she is below at another
Fashion Week Cleveland event. She practically holds the whole week-long event in her hands as the Administrative Services Director. But she's good at it!

Here's my re-creation below: The chuck's are from Target, the fur vest from Forever 21, the grey top from Macy's, the Betseyville bag from Zappos, and the Big Star jeans are from The Denim Shop. Interested in a closer look at these items? click

Dani is my stylish person this week! Dani is a scientist at Case Western Reserve University! She had a baby six months ago and has been feeling frumpy lately. It is definitely hard, after having a baby, to feel like yourself again. But I think Dani looks fabulous! Don't you agree readers?
Dani is wearing a kimono sweater, cami and jeans all from a recet trip to Kohls. She is also wearing her ultra comfy black patent leather Dansk shoes, that she says she gets alot of wear out of.
Her nesting birds necklace (mommy and baby birds) can be found at
Uncommon Goods.
OH and click on over to The Budget Babe to see my jewlery giveaway!!!!!

My pick for
stylish person this week is
Krisztina Lazar simply because she oozes cool and I want to be as confident and creative as she is! Krisztina showed her clothing line at
Fashion Week Cleveland last year-the grand finale of the wearable art show was the killer wedding dress she designed! This year she is the director of one of the shows. She also shares her amazing artwork and story on her site
http://www.transcendentbird.com/.
Check it out!Krisztina is wearing a knit hat she made herself (or course!), a skirt from American Apparel, Ugg boots and a smurfette graphic tee from Delias. Her Express jeans were an after-thought under her skirt, she says, because she was cold! I love all the layers, and the mix of the graphic tee and rugged boots with a feminine skirt.
Here's my re-creation below:
-Ugg Adirondak boots, $254,
Zappos-if you get cold, add your own jeans :)

My pick for stylish person of the week is Deb. Doing this weekly for as long as I have, it would become inevitable that I might use the same person twice. I just couldn't help it-she always looks great! She is wearing a black chiffon Ann Taylor Loft jacket (which is no longer available on-line-darn!), a red lace cami from Macy's, Gap skinny jeans and boots from Dillards (she couldn't figure out which brand and neither could I).
Here is my re-creation below:
-Simply Vera Wang chiffon
jacket ,$68.60 at Kohls.
-Docker
boots, $33.97 at Kohls.
-lace
cami $24.50 at Limited.
-Trifari silver
necklace, $15.60 at Kohls.

Patti, who owns the interior design business Punch Jordan is my Stylish Person of the Week! Patti is wearing black pants from Fibres, a local boutique, a black top from Old Navy and a purple swing jacket from Marshalls or TJ Maxx, she can't remember which! Patti could have gone several different ways with her shoes. On this night, she was wearing vintage purple heels (not shown), but she could have worn boots, heels or flats. Patti put a pop of color on the top of her outfit, which draws the eye up to her face. Any pop of color (as I've shown below)would do, with a black top and pants. If you went with the black swing coat shown below, then you should wear a pop of color in your top, accessories or shoes!
Here is my re-creation below: The black stretch tee, $15 and the essential natural rise trousers for $20, are both from
Old Navy. The swing jacket in
multi-colors is $34.99 at
Chadwicks.

Patricia is my stylish person of the week! Patricia was at a children's party with me and she looked comfy chic in her Long and Lean jeans from the Gap, her short sleeve turtleneck sweater from Marshall's, worn over a tee with bell sleeves. She could have gone a few different ways with the jeans:worn them tucked inside tall boots, over heeled boots, or worn with flats. She would have worked it all three ways! And let's face it: isn't this really what we want out of our casual weekend wear? Simple, comfortable, and yet pulled together!
Here's my re-creation below: Long and Lean
jeans from the
Gap for $59.50. Short sleeve turtleneck
sweater, $48 from
Henri Girl Boutique. Long sleeve
tees from
Americas Basics,
any 4 basic tees for $20!!!!! Now that is a deal! Check them out! Buy $60 worth of clothes and receive a FREE tank top!

Wendy is wearing a Daisly Fuentes sweater from Kohl's, black pants by Carol Anderson, boots from DSW, AND the scarf and purse, SHE MADE HERSELF, and just for fun!!!! Go on with your crafty self!
Here is my recreation of her outfit below: The sweater is from Requirements, Kohl's for $32.40. The black pants, Gabriella Rocha, $50 and the David Tate boots, $99 both from Zappos. There would be no way to recreate Wendy's scarf and bag, so I went with handmade. The gorgeous scarf, prices starting at $75, is from Purly Girl, and the bag is from Jansdotter, for $58! For more info. on each of these items, click on the picture collage below!

My choice for stylish person this week is Andrea! Andrea started a business called Spiffy Spaces, Home Decorating on a Budget. Andrea is always stylish when I see her and I know that must seep into her interior home talent too!
Andrea is wearing a very cool leather blazer by Deep Los Angeles she bought at a store called Newport Day Goods in Port Clinton, Ohio. Her jeans are Forever 21 and her boots are Target. Unfortunately I didn't get a good shot of her great slouchy bag too.
I re-created her look below: Brown jacket on sale for $66.72 by
Dialogue for QVC. Rikki skinny jeans, $29.90 at
Forever 21.
Target did not have Andrea's cute boots. But here's
another furry offering from their selection: the Bearpaw Pasador shearling boots is $54.99

My choice for stylish person this week is Lindsay. Lindsay is the merchandising manager at her family owned interior design shop,
Punch Jordan, as well as a barista at Starbucks.
I was inspired by the punch of color and fun she decided to bring to her otherwise plain black coat, which can get lost in the sea of other black coats, in a city where snow is looming and dressing warmly is required. I told her she was channeling Carrie Bradshaw when she decided to wear a giant red flower on her coat. Linday
would fit in perfectly with my post earlier this week about adding a standout
detail to an otherwise dreary winter wardrobe.
Lindsays's flower is from H & M, her classic coat from Calvin Klein, her wide leg jeans from Target, and her flats from the Gap. Today my focus will be on buying a substantial and classic neutral coat. Once you buy one you love, you can bring in some color through a flower, like Lindsay did or a fun scarf, hat, purse or pashmina.
Here's my re-creation:The giant red flower below is available in other colors for $10.50 from The Limited. The wool blend coat for $148 is from the Gap. Add your own favorite jeans and shoes, and be a standout in an sea of black coats, bags and shoes!
My nomination for
stylish person this week is
Mary Jo. Mary Jo owns her own dance studio called
EMJAEZ! When not wearing stretchy yoga pants to teach dance, her style is flowy, feminine and casually chic. Her
top is Chelsea and Violet from Dillards, the
cardigan is Sonoma by Kohls, the
scarf is older with the tag is missing (we all have those), her
jeans are Levis and her
shoes are Born. She says she has to go for comfort because of her problem feet, from dancing all of these years.
See my re-creation below: The floral
top is AB Studio on sale for $16 at Kohls. As is the
cardigan by Sonoma, on sale for $21.99, the
scarf for $12.60, and the
Levis 515 for $31.99. The
shoes are Born from Zappos for $94 (FREE SHIPPING BOTH WAYS)!
My stylish person of the week is Lisa! Lisa's wardrobe came staight from Fibres Boutique in Woodmere, Ohio (ph: 216-831-4875).Her striped scarf and ribbed cardigan are by Michael Stars. Her tank is by Necessities, her black pants are Think Tank and her necklace and earrings are Mira, sold at Fibres. The only thing she didn't walk out of the boutique wearing was her Kenneth Cole boots. Here's my re-creation below:
You can find her
Michael Stars striped scarf in several colors for $36 on Michael Stars site, or if you live in the greater Cleveland area, go to Fibres on Chagrin.
It's a great scarf. I bought one for a friend and the jersey knit material feels so nice next to your skin. The City Style
black cardigan for $39.95, as well as the
black pants, are both from NY and Company. The grey
Kenneth Cole boots are $159.98.
Add your own tank and long gold jewlery (for Mira Jewelry contact Fibres) and you will look as fabulous as Lisa. You go girl!
