Dear Bread:

How I miss you!

But I had to break up with you!

You didn't help keep my waistline flat!

I still dream about you, like, everyday.

Big and crusty French or Italian:

With GOBS of butter:

Or a breakfast of French toast:

Or pancakes:

And my favorite thin crust pizza:

Maybe we can sneak out together sometime when pita bread with hummus calls to me (it's just not the same with Mr. carrot stick):

We may be able to see one another again, on a limited basis. Like at restaurants or on special occasions.
You're just not good for me! In fact, I was surprised how addicted I had become to you.
*SIGH*

This is the saddest breakup story I have ever heard. Only bread on special occasions. I am sad for you.

There is an award waiting for you.

I feel your pain...I too had to give up bread except for the occassional pita or Light whole wheat sliced read :( I can sniff bread out whereever I go too. It's torture really!

I love bread too. But I have sugar problems which doesn't love bread. Try Aunt Hattie's Low Carb...it's not bad. I agree it's a sad breakup story.

First...thanks for visiting my blog!

Bread is my number one favorite food...I heart it so much, but agree that it may be best to part ways. I was so excited to find your blog and the yummy pictures on it! It made my stomach rumble! :) My old roommate and her now husband both used to write for Sun, I wonder if you guys worked together!

P.S. My friend on Oprah's name is George if that's who you're thinking of!

This post was JUST CRUEL!!! My dinner wasn't filling at all, and that bread-- particularly the crusty French bread-- has my mouth salivating!
