Would You Rather: Halloween Edition

Some people have a love/hate relationship with Halloween, so I thought I'd turn the tables and ask you the questions.

WOULD YOU RATHER...

1. Sit on your porch, drink a pumpkin beer, shout hello to the neighbors, and hand out candy to hoards of kids (like my little pirate down there),
OR, shut off all the lights in your house and pretend you're not home (*knock knock* Boo Radley, are you in there)?

******

2. Devour the mini chocolate candies (Snickers, Butterfingers, Kit Kats),

OR, the mini sugar candies (Skittles, licorice Nibs, Candy Corn)?

******

3. Snuggle in to watch the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the most frightening movie, IMO, but you can pick your own),

OR, Charlie Brown's Halloween?

HAVE A SPOOKTACULAR WEEKEND!

Love this! Texas Chainsaw...what a dumb movie. I remember laughing the first time I saw it. (Hah...no pun intended.)

I'll be sitting on my porch, chatting with the neighbor, drinking a beer all while eating candy corns and watching Jason wannabes amble past.

Enjoy your Halloween!!

Happy Halloween to you and your pirate. I am sitting at work dressed as a fairy so you can guess my answer.

Turn off the light, eat the chocolate candy and watch at least 6 horror movies in a row. My wife may object, though.

1. I like the first choice, but we don't get many trick or treaters. Big downer.

2. Since we don't get many trick or treaters, it means I get to pig out on the mini chocolates, which naturally I buy too many of in the first place. :D

3. I could go either way, though if my husband would watch it with me (and cuddle on the couch with me), I'd go for scary movie. ;)

Going to my daughter's in PA where she has hoards of trick or treaters and chocolate, gooey goodness (which stays behind with her). Watching Pumpkinhead. It's been a tradition with us since she was a kid. (Hugs)Indigo

Awww!! Your pirate is too adorable!!! I would rather hand out candy to the kids, though I'm usually never home when they come around. I'm usually out partying with my friends :)

Haha! I'd love to sit on the porch (though living in an apartment building is not so convenient for that...), eat the chocolate candies, and watch Charlie Brown. Your little pirate is so adorable!!! Have an awesome Halloween :)

I'd rather sit on my porch and hand out candy! I'd rather devour the chocolate bars! (Though I do love candy corn, but it can't compare to chocolate!) I'd rather watch "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (and "Scared Shrekless")!!!

LOL, this was a fun post! Happy Halloween!!!

Last year, knowing it was the last year my oldest was going to want to go out and trick-or-treat, I turned the porch light off and went out with my family rather than stay behind and hand out candy. We did give treats out to the kids on our street while we were out, but I must confess that there was a small part of me that felt a little guilty at the thought of all the kids walking past our dark house!

I've had chocolates in my house for a few days now for the trick-or-treaters (my oldest is taking over handing out duties tomorrow night now!), and somehow I have fought the urge to stay out of it. However, if I spy a 100 Grand bar in my youngest son's haul, I'm staking a claim the way a ghoul in a good old fashion horror movie might stake a victim!

Hope your little guy has a great Halloween, and you do, too!

I'd rather sit in the dark house with all the Twix bars and watch Charlie Brown. Yes, I am a wimp AND a grinch.

I'd pass out the candy (cute pirate BTW),have some chocolate and candy corn for myself AND watch scary movies until I can't sleep for a week!

Pass out candy, chocolate and Charlie Brown. All sweet for me. Can I add a glass of wine in there?

1. Normally, I'd rather give out the candy, but my husband and I have to attend a viewing on Sunday night. So the kids are Trick-or-Treating with friends, and we are going to a much less fun event.

2. Chocolate -- I'd pick out all the dark chocolate from the kids' haul -- and wash it down with a martini.

3. Husband likes Charlie Brown, but I find him a bit sappy. Not sure I can handle the Texas Chainsaw Massacre -- but I might like something gothic and spooky!

Cute pirate!

1. Passed out candy 1 year & it was fun, but usually, we hide out. -__-

2. Chocolate all the way!

3. Charlie Brown. Can't handle horror films at night.

Happy Halloween!

I did a little bit of everything! I missed the note that trick or treating was yesterday in my complex. So I had to ignore the ringing door bell :/ but I will pass out candy at my parent's house.. I love Halloween, I can't NOT pass out candy! I also watched Charlie Brown. :)

1. Porch sitting

2. Both!

3. Charlie Brown--not a fan of horror movies.

Give me the chocolate everytime and if that means sitting in the dark with the lights out then so be it.

1. My family's always been the second, but I'd love to be the first!

2. Chocolate candies all the way!

3. Charlie Brown's the awesomest. ;)

Happy Halloween!

A big yes to pumpkin beer, chocolate and Charlie. ;)

1. Hand out the candy (while drinking the beer!)
2. Chocolate. But I have a major soft spot for candy corn - the only sugar candy I like.
3. Charlie Brown, please!

Fun post!

My fav part is when the kids come to the door. CUTENESS! I especially love those who made their costume instead of bought it. The creativity always astounds me. :)

Definitely give out candy and watch Charlie Brown! I just can't watch gory movies with blood-and-guts (and cannibals). I love scary movies, but won't watch overly-bloody ones.

Also, I can devour mini chocolate bars all night long! But I'm diabetic so I can't. :o( Major, major bummer.

Hope your Halloween was fab!
