I'm catching up this series by spotlighting books I haven't mentioned in more recent posts. This list also contains no sequels. ^_^

Most recent YA Novels I've enjoyed:

SHATTERED SOULS

GILT

A SPY LIKE ME

I'm reading Miracle by Elizabeth Scott. I LOVE her YA contemporary books. She writes like Sarah Dessen, only her books are a lot shorter. :)

I recognize one of those books. ;) Thanks.

There are so many books I want to read. I just finished Here by Denise Grover Swank. Loved it. And I'm reading an adult book. gasp. It doesn't happen very often! And my library recently got some new YA books in but I'm trying to finish the ones I have first.

Almost done with The Book Thief. Then it's on to a friend's unpublished.

Oh, Matt, what do you think of Book Thief? I read it a few months ago...

I love the cover of Gone, Gone, Gone. Very intriguing and mysterious.

And A Spy Like Me is on my TBR list!!!

What did you think of Gilt? I've heard good things. I'm reading Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler right now and it's making me SO hungry for cupcakes. :)

Meredith--really enjoyed it. it felt almost contemporary (for a historical)!

I just finished Sarah Wylie's ALL THESE LIVES and it was insane! It made my chest area feel all raw for hours after I finished reading. She's talented. For realz.

I had an unfortunate stuck in an airport situation yesterday and picked up CEMETERY GIRL (not YA) because of the cover. I'm kind of mad at the protagonist right now so not sure I'd recommend.
