EASY Chicken Cordon Bleu

Bloggy friend, Nisa left this recipe in my comments section when I posted about another ham dish.

So I jumped right on it!

Especially when I saw it required a crock pot.

I needed to finally bring mine out of retirement!

Here's what you need:

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

4-6 slices of deli ham

4-6 slices of swiss cheese

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1/4 cup of milk

1. Wrap a slice of ham and cheese around the chicken breasts and secure with a toothpick:

2. Mix the milk with the soup and pour it over the chicken:
3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours (I cooked mine for 4):
THAT'S IT! It was so tender and yummy!

Thanks again, Nisa!

That sounds yummy. I make salsa crock pot chicken and it's even easier.
Just clean and put your chicken breasts in the crockpot. Pour one medium size jar of salsa over the top. Bake for about 3 1/2 hours. Then pour 1 cup of instant rice in and stir. Bake another 30 min to cook the rice and enjoy. It is divine. I recommend that you stick with a regular salsa. Had a friend try it with chipotle pineapple and it wasn't as good. I just use the Food City brand in medium and it works great :o)

That does sound easy and better than pulling up the skin and stuffing the stupid things. I will give it a try. Thank you.

The hubby would love this!! I just bought a CrockPot myself. Never had one before, but I've heard of so many good recipes using this baby, so I had to try it. This will be next on the list!

Ooh Girl, I am so totally gonna make that! I LOVE my slow cooker.

Though I got an electric pressure cooker for Christmas, and I'm not gonna lie, it puts slow cooking to shame!
