Rainy Days and Mondays...

So it's raining again. And I'm not just talking about a rainy afternoon or a sudden downpour. I'm talking days upon days of gray. A low pressure system is hovering over Lake Erie and won't leave. It's been this way for most of spring!

And sometimes this kind of weather has an insidious way of seeping into my brain, joining forces with my self-doubt, and bringing me way down.

But I can't let it. I won't let it!

So instead, I'll dream of these kinds of days ahead:

May your Monday be filled with hope and sunshine and smiles!

Yay, no rain for us. :D

Can't wait for summer, either.

You chose the best pictures to dream of! I'm sending tons of sunshine your way. As much as I don't want rain our city needs it. I wish the world knew how to share ;)

Thanks for the brighter photos. We've had rain for a week, too. Today as well. WE need sun. :)

I love you positive attitude! Reading in a field of flowers does it for me every time.

It's been hit or miss around here with the rain, but as long as it doesn't rain this weekend (we have a getaway trip to the shore planned), I can weather through this storm :) Hope it eases up around your way soon too!

We've had so many dreary (and cold) days this spring. It does not feel like summer is around the corner. I am much more productive when it is sunny for some reason!
But positive vibes to everyone! (thankfully it is sunny here this morning but not sure how long will last according to weather report)

Poof! Gloomy weather be gone! We are having grey gloom too, though not days on end of rain.

We have been having the gloominess, too. And the rain. It definitely drags you down. It's just so exhausting and it coops you up.

My school year is a breath away from being over...so nothing but happy days over here :D

I feel you Christina. It's been gloomy and cold as can be where I am. We had two days of brilliant sunshine a couple weeks ago and then all the good weather disappeared and it's as cold as it was in winter. It's miserable. And it is REALLY hard to keep yourself up for so long when the atmosphere you're living in is so gloomy. But I know both of us can stay afloat. These are GREAT pictures and totally remind us what we have to look forward to!!

LOVE that last picture! I'd like to spend my entire summer in that very spot. Not sure of the odds of that actually happening...

The weather here in southeast PA has been very changeable -- brilliant blue skies one minute, crashing thunderstorm the next. Last week was gorgeous -- this week rain is forecast every day.

Hoping to get lucky on Thursday though. I have a field trip -- an outdoors one -- with my class. My daughter (who's in the classroom next door) will also be on the trip, and my husband is chaperoning. Yay! 3/4 of the Salernis all on the same trip -- and hopefully we won't all be huddling on the bus, taking shelter from the rain ...

AH! Was so there a couple weeks ago. The sun exists, dear Christina. It will shine again!

I'm one of those weirdos who adores rain ;) Mostly 'cause we've had hardly any of it here for the last 8 months :(

We seem to be under the same system. But those pictures make me happy.

These days slow me down too. Ugh. I'm with you...daydreaming of blue skies.
