The Five Senses of Spring: SOUND

1. Birds chirping their poetic melodies.

2. Rain sprinkling and splattering away the signs of winter.

3. Lawnmowers humming and buzzing atop shiny emerald blades.

4. Children shouting and giggling across lawns. Breathless and happy.

Sizzling of meat, on the grill.

I suppose that fits better under smell, but still. I'm hungry. Dang. Now that's taste.

Yes, you hit on them Christina.

Though at my house, I got the lawnmower prepped, tuned, and test started only to hear thunderstorms moving in. I am such a jinx.

Speaking of lawnmowers running, we have to get on that! I'm pretty sure the neighbors are cussing us newbies out since we have yet to cut the grass.

HA, Maddy! We used to think the same thing as newbies. And with time we realized that everyone has the same exact thoughts! Congrats on your new home!
