OMIGOSH that's fabulous!!!! What a fabulous idea. Thanks for sharing!
That's awesome! People are so creative. I agree it would be sad to cut out a book like that though.
After visiting a penitentary museum, my stepdaughter gutted a book to hold a hammer. Maybe this is a nicer way to gut a book, although I would also cringe.LisaDay
how cute!but is this a prediction of the fate of books! ah!
"It would be sad to gut a book like that"--I always think the same thing :D Every time I see one of those book sculptures where they cut the pages of books into some kind of amazing sculpture, I feel a little sorry for the book. The book planters are pretty cool, though :)
Lisa, that reminds me of the movie Shawshank Redemption!Tara, Noooooo don't say that!
Ahhhh! I'm the type that hates when a page gets folded back or something gets spilled on a page.
Oooh love----maybe with Arcs? Although they might not be strong enough for the process.
Now that really is cool.
Substitute toys and books on the stairs and you've got my house. :DNow I know what to do with my old book. That is soooo cool.
That is so COOL! And you don't even need a "garden". Sweet! I'm so doing this ...
I love this! You'd have to find some great-looking old books that aren't actually all that great. Maybe encyclopedias or something?
Wow, A+ for creative with that concept.
Looks cool, but dang, I could never do that to a book!
I'll have to find a book I don't really like and do this to it. :) So pretty!
On the plus side, it would be a great way to recycle those poor old books that nobody wants :-)
That IS really pretty. But I am a terrible plant care-taker. I feel bad whenever someone gives me a plant, because I know it's doomed.I might be able to manage a cactus.
I love books too much! hahaha... even if it was a book I would never care about reading.
This IS Fabulous! I would love to try this for my coffee table! Thanks for the link :)
