BOOK NEWS: Between Breaths Series
As soon as I finished PROMISE ME THIS last spring, I began writing about this other character almost immediately. I knew that I needed him to have a story and a male love interest.
I'm talking about CORY, the tattoo artist from PROMISE ME THIS. He works at RAW INK with Bennett and Jessie and is friends with the whole gang from the series.
He's likes to joke and mess around a lot and I just knew there was some kind of pain he was trying to cover up with all of those smiles.
Enter silent, myserious, skateboarder, JUDE. *SIGH* That's all I'll say for now. ;-)
And there you have it. My male/male romance. Blurb to come soon!
It's not the first gay character or romance I've written. But it's the first to be published. And for that I am VERY grateful.
I love these two boys something fierce and I desperately want them to have their happily-ever-after. This is probably the book of my heart, because I had someone special in mind while writing it.
That someone special left the world entirely too young and had a beautiful relationship of his own (some of you guys have heard me talk about him before). I hope he's enjoying a HEA wherever he is because he deserves to feel all the love and comfort and joy the universe has to offer.
On that note, here is the announcement from Publisher's Marketplace for BOOK FIVE in the BETWEEN BREATHS series.
It's called THERE YOU STAND.
Author of Promise Me This, Christina Lee’s next novel in her Between Breaths series, THERE YOU STAND. A male/male romance about a silent, inked up skateboarder and the tattoo artist who unravels him piece by piece, to Laura Fazio, at NAL for publication in Spring 2015 by Sara Megibow of Nelson Literary Agency (World English). Translation Jenny Meyer: email@example.com
*** Just FYI, it'll be released the month BEFORE my Adult Contemporary Romance, TWO OF HEARTS (which is not tied to this series). So you'll get to read this m/m romance in April 2015.
*** The blurb and cover reveal should be coming soon!
