Friday Quotables

My favorite quotes this week:

"I have never know any distress that an hour's reading did not relieve."

by Benjamin Jowett

*******

From the always irreverent GLEE :

"Dolphins are just gay sharks."

********

From my five-year-old (while watching a commercial with animals tricking people),

"Look at those stupid HUMANS..."

!?!?!?
********

"You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you."

by Eric Hoffer

**********

Why always "not yet"? Do flowers in spring say "not yet"?

by Norman Douglas

HAVE A spring-inspired WEEKEND!

Stopping by from SITS.

I like the GLEE quote. I still haven't seen it, but I've heard it is really great.

I love the Glee quote. I made my husband rewind the DVR five times to laugh at it Tuesday night while we watched. I want it on a Tshirt!

Great qoutes! Glee rocks and your son it too cute! Lol! He'll come across many "stupid humans" as time goes on! Hope you have a great weekend! The boat sounds like an awesome idea :) I would love to own one someday too!

Dolphins are gay sharks?? So funny! I am wondering if the seat on THAT bike is comfy. Mine...is not.

The first quote is totally true. If I ever feel like crying, screaming, or just being a brat, I just read for a bit. Everything goes away.

I rode my bike to work today! Yay spring!!

Busted up when I heard that quote on Glee. Love the last quote about not yet and spring. I keep wanting to say not yet to things, but I think I need to start saying - yes, now. Hope you have a springy weekend too.

HAHAHAHA!! That Glee quote was easily — EASILY — the best line last week.

I'm a bit behind on my blog reading and commenting and such, but thank you for stopping by my blog recently! It makes me so happy to see new faces. :)
