Flashback Friday

This is what happens when you unknowingly drop your iPhone in a snow drift, and then your hubby "finds it" in the snow blower's engine.

This was last winter, and I looked for that damn phone everywhere. It had my whole life in it and I was frantic.

Hubby suggested I not replace the (expensive, can't live without, tons of apps) iPhone and return to using a regular cell. *glare* Yeah, right!

HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!

It's SO crazy that our phones have become essentials these days. I do remember a time when people didn't have them and the world turned all the same. But now, if one gets lost or broken (or put through the washing machine...ahem) it's PURE chaos.

I want one! Not that one, a new one.

After seeing "Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist", I'm convinced the worst thing that could ever happen to a cell phone is dropping it in a public toilet that happens to be full of your own drunken vomit. I'd take the snowblower over that one anyday!

Oh no. That is awful. I thought dropping my phone in a snow bank was bad but dropping and iPhone is way worse.

Ooh, that's always rough. I lost mine outside and ice rink a few years back. It snowed. They plowed. Bye, bye phone.

I'm with Melissa....I gasped out loud when I saw that picture and then I felt embarrassed for being so upset by it. It must be love your smart phone day on the web or something!

I've resisted having a smart phone, because you can't miss what you don't know, right? I'll become cool and get one eventually, but for now, my little flip phone is just fine.

Ouch, that was an expensive booboo!

My husband lost a pair of glasses in a snow bank once. The lawn mower found them months later. Not as expensive as a phone but inconvenient.

Did you see LiLa's vlog? You should totally have a funeral for your iPhone. And yes. Your husband is crazy.

OH NO! Yeah, it doesn't look salvageable.

I still have the other kind of phone, but I can relate to you wanting an iReplacement.
